Meet Kat & Eric
Welcome! I am starting this blog during a time when I am needing a creative outlet. This idea has been floating around in my head for years, so it feels incredible to finally act on it!
In college, I realized that I adored perfectly curated, perfectly styled areas of my small apartment and would take photos of different areas to show off what I had created for friends and family. I quickly found out that it also brought me incredible joy to come back to a space that was both a portrayal of my personal style and felt like home. When I bought a house in 2022, this hobby was only magnified (by 2,000+ square feet).
Flash forward a few years and I have completely renovated the entire interior of my home and documented it with inspiring before and after shots. After finally getting all the photos into one spot and thinking about how to show people all the work, KLC Living was born!
I hope KLC Living can become an incredible community of home-lovers who are passionate about creating warm, welcoming spaces for those that live in them, as well as all their guests. Most of all, I hope this blog brings you inspiration and a little joy.

Where We Are
I am based in Brookfield, Wisconsin with my husband, Eric and our two beautiful dogs, Harley and Leia. We bought our home in 2022 and have been living amidst renovations ever since! We both work in finance full-time, but interior design, home decorating and renovations have been my passion for such a long time.
Meet the Pups
These are our pups, Harley and Leia. Harley was born in 2020 and Leia in 2022 - they are one of the great joys in our life and constantly keep us laughing. If you see us over on Instragram, odds are high you will see Leia smiling (aka bearing her teeth like a tiger - its hysterical, every time).
